alone but not lonely
night whispers decide me
prancing music carefree in occurrence
as I drift away, heart bursting
silence is my lover
remembering touch of rivers
flowering pleasure of overflowing banks
sitting on a beach chair sipping joy juice
holding hands & smiling
we’re generally keen
in a beautiful holiday
a handshake of freedom
linked to compassionate summer
finding what I’ve longed
for what seems to be forever
witchery magic
flying ocean carpet
secrets carry me toward destiny
here all things believe
and plays with light
in the mind
soothing heaven in the heart
lovable piano
together sweet tones and lyrics
tapping into my life like gregory hines
as the end of each day melts
holding me close
in the middle of this park
my mystery unfolds into hopes and dreams
from eyes that explode
meticulous pose
bringing the ghost closer, closer…
how far thoughts generate
nature’s window dressed in green
it is all I've dreamed of and more

Happy noon time, Lovely Lee! ~ Gosh, where did the morning go?!?

"silence is my lover
remembering touch of rivers
flowering pleasure of overflowing banks
sitting on a beach chair sipping joy juice
holding hands & smiling"

Hold that thought! It's a beauty and one that will remain with me as well!

You exude beauty, both on the out and on the in! You have an exeptional talent and spirit.

LOL I just reread my reply and I cracked up laughing. Some may get the wrong impression when my response came after ("sitting on a beach chair sipping joy juice
holding hands & smiling")

Hi Lee, very nice poem. I was caught by the title, because those are the exact words our Queen Mother used as a title to her biography, many many years ago.

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

I love being alone.

It seldom happens here though.

But when it does?

I have a private party.

(and you can take that anyway you like )

This so very desirable a condition....how does one attain it, starting from the precise opposite? Perhaps they don't....at least, I haven't found it.

Lee,

I love this.  Alone is only in distance and time, eh?  I like how you capture that part of love.  Another keeper!

Hi LeeJ...We Poets are never alone, for our thoughts are our companions, and solitude is sought after to bring them to fruition.

How fortunate we are indeed!

Very beautiful indeed... I am one who can be alone and not lonely, insisting on having time to myself, so your writing captured all those feelings I have never been able to express with the brilliance which you have so done. Awesome write!

"tapping into my life like gregory hines"
I always kinda felt like he stomped more than tapped

Otherwise, I loved it

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
