On what banks of which bright river,
on which ray of golden sun?
Where in this world of bright sorrows,
is a grief that can never be done?

If your love should turn and flee from you.
If your romance is over and done.
Be bright, lift your eyes ever onward,
for grief will not last in bright sun.

Poetry is just the evidence of life.
If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash. "

Thanks James. Life is teaching me sometimes I got to let go. I have a habit to clinging on to things.

Bright sun hides a a wealth of sorrows
where is it that this sun must shine
We have to face all life's tomorrows
carrying grief throughout all time.

The sun must shine from deep inside us
The sun must shine from heaven above
A sunshine that we all must follow
to mend the heartache of lost love.

Bill, this is so poignant...but as in all things, this too shall pass.  If it wasn't meant to be, it means that God had someone else in mind...look what you have to look forward too!
