my father
and I
are in the backyard
at the picnic table
playing
cards

his deal
but he is sailing
the sea
of which game
and how many cards

the game
is almost over
the next hand
will be dealt
by the wind

Beautiful imagery as always!
A wonderful write..I have missed reading you!

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.
