a dog was barking at me one day

and it startled me when i was parking my bicycle so i stopped to say :

                             have you seen my soulmate?

the last time i saw her she was headed to Colgate university

and i haven't seen her since

                                 the Doberman winced

                                           ouch!!!

that's got to be difficult knowing that her fence

could be surrounding somebody else's back yard

i thought you were her prince

it was obvious that the doberman was in no mood to mince words

and howard was convinced that his bite would be much worse than his adverbs

the suspense was filling him with thoughts

of eve's incense of how he caught her offgaurd

when he suddenly proposed to her before she regained her senses and told him

that it wouldn't be a little absurd

to hear him out even though she already has a San Antonio Spur

swishing her nets but at least maybe a friendship could occur

                                     do you have any pets?

but at that moment howard's thoughts were inturrupetd by the train of regrets

that traveled the tracks of his mind

every since eve left him behind

he wanted her back so bad, how could fate be so unkind

by allowing him to find his one and only

only to be left sad and lonely .......

seeing how bereft his questions had left howard

the doberman figured that maybe this wasn't the best hour .......

                                         howard!!!!!!!!

howard and the doberman quickly turned around

and saw the prettiest smile ever born

                            in any Ringling Bros. circus

and at that moment howard realized that maybe life had purpose

                                           after all

the end

                                                                             love,

                                                                            eve & howard
