.

Fog stirs
Old memories
Without shape or color
Softly drift through morning air

What is past
Is lost
Can not come back

Yet through white mist
A harbor bell

Your offerings
are always some
treasured moment.

And I thank you
for them.

Sunshine,

Thank you

I try
to allow what I write
not to be only about myself
which is stupid, because I in fact
have been very fortunate,
since despite I am at peace.

Thanks again

John

Oh how neatly done.  Right at the end, you ring the bell.

I do understand (from what I have read of you) only my parents were born here but it was my Grandparents that suffered and came to the states.
