Diana,
your beauty is beyond this world,
yet of this world;
but not one that should burn a second Troy -
with your beauty you create life -
not death

I have seen your curves,
as the dunes at sunrise,
as the morning mist lifts
from the mountain peaks

you are a goddess
in the temple of life;
you are of the Earth

-and that is
what's troubling me...

for the hearts of men
are so easily deluded
into make-believe --
have they not learned
you cannot possess a wild flower
from a spring meadow plucked?

and what is Earth -
but a solitary wild flower
in a desert of space

Diana,
I see your beauty
and my eyes weep,
my heart cries --

when will the men of the World
lay their blades at your feet?
when will they honor you, respect you?
when will they let you walk
dressed undressed unafraid?

for only when they do...
the Earth will bloom again

beauty is what we live for...
beauty of a wild flower...

A woman who bears such a name,
oft'times is, just that...

beyond compare.

Beautiful.
