.

The snow swirls
Down Main Street
Toward the white church
At the end of town

The World War bronze
His uplifted hand
Catching crystals
As they fall through air

Street lights
With different colors on and off
By the lake
Ducks huddle along the shore

No one remembers
How or who summer was

It is winter
Cold night—
With no star in the sky

Excellent!  You get the feel just right in this one.  What can I say?  I wish I could have summer back.
