with a sweet-scented smile
she lured
he flew by
the mosaic of her
intrigued him;
inquisitive,
he landed to sample the sweets

little he knew
the nectar would render him
flightless

A certain creature comes to mind.  As soon as I can remember its name, and find a photo, I shall add same.
