I like PIP and the people here. Most are great genuine people who have something in common we all love to write and to read poetry. What you are about to read is no different. Thought a ramble it's a little more personal I feel comfortable in posting this.

To write a poem about you would do no justice. My pen, my heart, my thoughts
cannot describe the measure of my love for you.

I have tried so hard to write the ultimate poem for you, but it is imposible for me;
no meter, no syallabes, no sonnet or structure is worthy

For the last 10 months I have written over 20 poems some where great.. in perfect
structure even  9 sonnets for every month of your life. All unworthy

William Shakespeare said, "For where thou art, there is the world itself,
and where thou are not, desolation."

Just a few days ago I was reading Shakespeare, and came across that quote,
instantly I realized with your birth; birthed a new heart in me.

Before you where born my heart was desolate, and broken because of your
mother. When I first held you.. in a twlight it all changed.

You changed the way I think, the way that I carry myself, the way that I see love.
You brought responsablity to the table, and melted the boy who needed to be a man.

No longer do I sigh when I go to work and think of every reason why I should quit,
but now I go to work, and know the reason why i cannot.

From bottle feeding you, playing with you watching in awe countless nights that
you suck your thumb, and fall asleep on daddy's chest softened me.

I know because of you I am able to love again; because of you I am a man;
because of you every sacrifice made, and will make.... will all be worth it.

Dad will always love you. Dad  will strive to make you proud. Daddy will always
be there. Thank You daughter for removing the beam in my eye. Thank You
for the tears of joy. Thank You for changing my life. Thank You for you love.
Thank You... "For Me" NOT  being able to describe my love.
It doesnt need to be said, it is shown.

"Once a tear fell off my cheek and into the ocean,
the day I find it will be the day I stop loving you".

Love,
Daddy

Bill, this left me trembling and in tears...as the love one feels for their children shows us purpose and many other important things...We grow up with our children, and spending every moment with them that we can is so important...that quality time, they need so...

and so I say to you, the bond that you speak of is a rebirth, and you, sir, have described it with uncanny expertise and steadfast love...understanding, patience.

God bless you and she...she is beautiful....
as so is her daddy.

How precious she is Bill!
You know..it's good to see a daddy writing of his little girl.
The love you expressed here she will carry through her lifetime.
Well done Dad!

I found there lives within me..

I wanted to Thank Everyone for commenting on this. The purpose of posting this was for everyone to get to know me a little better. Most of the poetry that I post on here is about her mother. You guys and gals are wonderful people here. Without your talents, love and community support of comments PIP might not be here.

Thanks for beautiful comments about my daughter
