A Rose of Steel

A blacksmith made a rose of steel
That played just like a glockenspiel
Each leaf rang out in true delight
To play its music day and night

It reached the height of mountain tops
And sifted through the farming crops
It over shot the church bells ring
It rang a magic flavoring

He set it on a markers stone
To resonate an undertone
To keep a spirit company
His added touch, theophany

And to this day within the breeze
And whispering within the trees
Plays the black smiths rose of steel
A symphony of loves appeal

It plays each day the winds airstreams
And also plays within my dreams

Your title is wonderful. I very much enjoyed the music of this poem.  It still resonates, just as the rose of steel.

I loved this poem. I truly do appreciate your talents. Writing poems in any syallable count is challenging. Keeping them the same is "hair thining to me" I truly do admire your poetry, and hope in the future I can write as good as you do.

Seymour~
I adore your gentle words in sway
for I believe that on this day
indeed you brought a view to me
of my very own theophany~

That is as pretty a piece of poetry
as I've seen come from the inking well of you, my friend~

Thank you again for being a poet~

Seymour,

Did I say I liked your poetry?  I am amazed by your imagination and how you pass it on to others,
