Bittersweet

The whispering voice, so well-known,
Mysterious dreams, all the same, -
I live in the world of my own,
Of grief in a beautiful frame.

I know that something is missing -
The mind locked the heart in a cage.
I'm no more living - existing,
Just playing my part on the stage.

I open my soul to a stranger,
Whose guise is well-known, as it seems.
He smiles, always calls me his angel
And - all... Then I wake from this dream.

My reveries are the best ever mirrors
That show my strength deep inside;
I gain all this strength from my fears
To lose what has never been mine.

Well done

Poet, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

My personal view is that serious poetry should welcome critique, what is there to gain otherwise? So choose from one of these, well done, help needed, I am the greatest and be happy with it.
