I sit within my ebony tower
(Once ivory now in corruption
Due to environmental pollution
)
Attempting to wield power
(As if the consideration
Is worth any evaluation
)
And find myself lost inside
(Pray what shall I do
My kingdom for a corkscrew
)
Turned about within the shadows I hide
(No interest in turning on the light
Comfortable with artificial night
)
So I look not through these closed windows
Creeping soft into the morrow

Gloom (Gloom)

Professor
That's about as gloomy as you can get.
Well done.
