I woke this morning singing our song,
Hoping the day wouldn't be long.
In only my dreams, I see you today.
I hope that tomorrow will bring you my way.

The passing of time has many a cost
The time we're apart is too much a loss.
I've heard time heals, to some that's a start
But time lost with you is tearing my heart.

The time we have lost can never be found
Like a whisper that's spoken with no one around.
It drifts in the wind with no one to hear.
Forever it's lost, and forever I fear.

So try I must to make sure my time
Is spent loving you, and making you mine.
Time is not infinite nor ok to waste,
I'll love you each day with constant embrace.

Poetry is just the evidence of life.
If your life is burning well, poetry is just the ash. "
