Standing In Silence...

0 posted 2007-01-16 02:43 AM

*This is a very sarcastic poem, but this has been weighing on my mind very heavily lately...*

I look at you,
And all I see,
Is someone who,
Just disappoints me.

I've gotten past the point,
Where I try to help,
It doesn't do anything,
Except frustrate me.

It seems like,
You only live,
To continue on,
Killing yourself.

I look at you,
And all I see,
Is someone who,
Just disappoints me.

Forget about you kids,
They're not important
Just mistakes you made,
When you were young.

Why should they care,
How long you're in their lives?
What does that little can,
Have anything to do with that?

I look at you,
And all I see,
Is someone who,
Just disappoints me.

You'll never try to realize,
How much it affects me,
To see you this way,
Every time I see you..

And I know deep in my heart,
That your disease,
Will be your undoing,
And it'll bring you to your knees,
'Til you'll beg for it to stop,
But it'll be too late,
That habit you shoulda' dropped,
Will hold your whole fate.

So as I look at you,
All I can see,
Is someone who,
Just disappointed me,
The one who meant the most,
And cared the least...

There are many complications to what could be considered diseases, or even, vices...which turn into dis-ease...

And this poem, m'friend, can be related to by many, I'm sure.  It was good of you to share.
