Ebony Night

Ebony night stunts my mood
It blunts my mind of crude and rude
It slides me down the pit of ID
And will not let me lift my lid

I feel the shadows dance around
Touch my skin in whispered sound
Electrifies the sweat of sere
And there the angst appear in fear

I listen for each sound a key
To turn a latch and set me free
But ebony is sheer inane
And plays upon my minds insane

There is no way to shunt the dark
No firefly will light a spark
And I am left a pit of dwell
That smells to me the fringe of hell

To force me to a knave and slave
If not a mornings kiss did save

It's hard for me to imagine you in darkness, as you are such a source of light for me.

and if there is no firefly about, surely there must, at least, be a glow worm somewhere about?

Beautiful dear Sy!

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

serenity,
It's not so much the ebony night
as the orbit of my mind in flight.

Seymour,

Hey it's just gone midnight here in the UK and this is the last poem I'm reading before I go to bed!

Ivor

The moment created this second, is a  moment that's going to last.
It lives the full spectrum of time, the future, the present and past.

Sigi Seymore Tabin it amazes me my friend the depth of tenderness,to chase away the fears of night madness, the angry dreams, and night walkers,a single kiss from the one who matters!
