Lord, now that I am growing old
The only treasures I possess
Are the talents that you gave me
Which bring much happiness
You gave me a voice
To sing your praises every day
Good health and a new knee
To kneel on as I pray
When I grieved, you urged me
To write down all my thoughts
And I have chosen to write about
The wonders you have wrought
And if just one person
Is moved by what I write
And by my humble words
Faith in them ignite
And if on Sunday morning
They hear my voice loud and true
And it touches them
So that their faith they renew
Then Lord, I’m grateful for these treasures
And humbly give them back to you.

A beautiful prayer of thanks Bea.
Very heartfelt indeed.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

It is nice you were given the gift of song to sing his praise.  Beautiful prayer.

Thanks Mysteria...I've been singing since I was 13 yrs old...started in Church Choir and will end my days still singing there.  I was a trained Opera singer, and I still loved singing hymms just as much if not more!

I always felt he gave me this talent, to use to spread his love.

Hi Roniece...Gosh...I'd better close the windows before the neighbors complain about the noise!
