proverbial demise
even faith couldn’t understand
broken mirrors maneuvering
shards of black conjurings
crouching around soul
like a blurred likeness
going by the wayside
or a fading smile
hidden in shadowed moonlight
if I shall keep on living in today
I feel secure
pushing back the blankets of a
tomorrow, that is not yet born
I don’t know what pages will write
such soft soothing noises that light
lays down…by the door
translating
another page,
another paperbound
I dip into deep thick shadows
eyes scanning the manifestation of
an assassin swarming a moment
around my neck with
fluid gestures of blackened eyes
oh, that I morn whispers of
disgusted anger
frozen in cold breath
dimming my name, my entire being
locked in a wooden box
glancing at my gushing aura
bathing in condescending sounds
conditioned
for the worst
difference of them all
the chuckle
dehumanizes opticals
reminding me, of the dependency
of mental problems and fears
circling around expendable pioneers
just for amusement, it mocks
And I screamed straining my lungs

“DON”T YOU LOOK AT ME
IN THAT TONE OF VOICE”

Regaining that all to important energy
You know the one…..

Greetings, Lovely Lee!

"... I shall keep on living in today"

~ I am of the same mind, my friend! I try to not carry the pains of the past nor borrow troubles from the future! ~ for they would impinge upon my todays!

You are on quite an impressive roll, Contessa Poetessa!

Hugs with love,
Linda
