Poetry

The tallow of a poet’s piece
Off burns a wick of ambergris
A prison passing white lights view
To bring the bright of colors through

Lighting dark of shady hallows
Waking minds those prone to wallow
Signing chaos to a lease
To bring a moment of surcease

Spreading seeds for grass to grow
Above the seeds a symbols crow
Then watering the ground of store
To bring about an Eden’s core

While dancing to a life of rhyme
He builds an alter for this time
Offering up his worded rose
With all the might at his dispose

Hoping you will take his hand
And dance with him the fifers’ band

Good morning, Sir Poet!

Aha! So that is how it is done! ~ and you should know, for you are a master at writing poetry!

I would be honoured to take your proferred hand and dance away to the beat of the fifer's drum!
Perhaps some of your poetic magic will rub off on me!

Love this Sy.  If you don't mind dancing slowly...this new knee is pretty lazy...I'll be delighted to take a spin with you.

Sy...dance with you? Of course! But I do have to disagree with one thing here...your poetry will be honored long after you are dead and gone, not just this moment
