one night of fantasy,
one night of magic and lust,
one night to give in to the world
and crumble into dust

one night to be real
and let confusion slide,
one night for you and me
to just go for the ride
and let all the fears
die inside

one night of stars
one moon to shine on our skin
bare against the sea
little black dress off again

what gorgeous tears!

one night to love me
one night to love you

makes years.

One is very lucky if the "one night" makes years!  Enjoyed!

Ah, romantic scene in starry night,
the sea, the tempt, the warm moonlight,
breathes ardor into songs sung blue,
Yes! Lose the dress and find a muse!

Smiling here, Dixie!
Your muse is alive and well.

You made me smile.  I love this poem.  It reminded me of one night - learning to play backgammon - laughing - and bad sex that has always remained a good memory.

Thank you -

I think your muse wants to borrow your little black dress, so she gave you something in return... and wow, what a way to punch a hole in writer's block! Fantastic, it is!
