Laughter

Let laughter be your cup of tea
A soothing emcee of agree
Without a hearty loud guffaw
You drag your feet along the floor

Laughter has a lovely pose
It sheds the thorns that hold the rose
For subtle is this quips reply
Even though the wit may lie

Some react hilarious
And some react nefarious
There’s humor in the very core
Of everything that reaches shore

Laughter is like chicken soup
Cures the whoop of the croup
And sooths the path along the way
It’s the apple sauce of the day

So push away the placement stone
And activate your funny bone

Good advice but I mix tears with the laughter when my funny bone is activated - is that alright?

Laughter...now that's my favorite subject.

Laughter, particularly when directed at our own foibles, is the secret of longevity.
It's been proven that it is the healthiest thing we can do for ourselves...sets off endorphins that sweep away  tension, stress etc. which in turn prevents heart attacks, strokes, and just plain bad temper!
So laugh away my friend, and you will outlive all your enemies, the knowledge of which in itself is the greatest destresser of all!

Laugh and the world laughs with you...or at you as the case may be!

Well Seymour, my dear friend, I seemed to have lost my funny bone, right a long with my muse.

Love this write Sy!
You know what they say,
"Laugh and the world laughs with you..."
Thank you for the smiles you bring my way each day.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

RDB,
Just keep laughing, it beats crying.
Thank you friend.

Perhaps your muse, but you still have your funny bone. Not to worry your next laugh is just around the corner.

Nancy,
You are a delight.

This is just what I needed, my friend... I'm so heartily sick of rain and gloom and going to and from work in the dark... You've written the perfect prescription! *S*
