These words are penned for my first love who died at a very young age, many many years ago... I still mourn his loss, I guess first loves affect you in this way.. I’m a little sad today as I’ve just realized I no longer feel your presence in my life When you died you kept me living with your love for me When you died you kept me warm with your memories You always gave me strength when I needed you most You always listened to my heartfelt woes I still miss your goodness that enveloped me I still miss you as much as the first day I breathed without you Please continue to watch over me a little longer I need to feel your presence again soon [This message has been edited by Roniece Dawson-Bruce (01-07-2007 06:09 AM).] |

"I still miss you as much as the first day I breathed without you" ~ This line really ached ~ and was so uniquely and touchingly expressive. Love is energy and energy can never be destroyed.
