Fair to middlin' of nowhere

It isn’t every day
that it is so very clear
just how good it is
to be me.
After all the things I’ve had
and lost,
what matters most
are all those things
that are free.
I never realized
how many people
care about me.
I never comprehended
how deep my husband’s love
could be.
Yes, it is very good
to be me.

You are most fortunate mon cher, to have love in your life that you can both know and feel.

Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me!

It is good to appreciate the life in my life and appreciate what has always been there Capo. My accident could have been so much worse, I could have been killed. That realization has shifted my perspective on things just a bit. I think my depression is going to have a harder time getting the upper hand after this. ~L

Great introspective write, dear Lori. Gratitude for what we are and what we have in our lives is a blessing on its own.

Love,
Margherita

$5.99 for a greeting card? You're kidding me.
