I love the still moments that frame our reflection - and draw us closer and stronger.

Thank you, dear Alison, for stopping by here and enjoying the stillness, from which all tunes of life are born.

Love and hugs.

Very true, my friend - my wife and I sat in a place very similar (in fact WE looked very similar I think) to your photo - only the flowers we looked upon were Texas Blue Bonnets.

Great photo and poem --- they fit one another.

Wow so much said in so few words.
The beauty of growing old together
is a blessing in and of itself.

Love your poetry, glad I found you over here.

Margherita,I really like photos of benches in different places with or without people siting on them,.This and every bench that is in a public place has a lot of stories held as  within a hidden journal. Oh to be able to read them.  Jo

Thank you, dear Martyjo, for enjoying this. I too love benches, I have so many memories of my childhood when we went walking with my Mother and then always found a bench to relax, mostly also with breathtaking views of the lake and of the mountains. Hugs and have a wonderful Sunday!
