He has the chiseled features of a handsome Nordic God,
With perfectly placed brown eyes beneath a noble brow.
A skilled sculptor planed those cheekbones up so very high
And decided a deep dimple to his chin to then endow.

His arms are strong but gentle and make me feel so safe.
I want to be held in them as long as I shall live.
He has a sunny nature and hed rather love than fight.
Before giving him up, Id have my heart pierced with a shiv.

For twenty years hes filled my life with unadulterated joy,
And is a loving father to his daughters and his son...
And now this present is the past, it has been fifty years,
Since God sent angels for him and I felt my life was done.

I have his features firmly planted in my heart and mind.
I see them when Im sleeping and every minute Im awake.
As Im aging he grows younger and more handsome every day,
But Im hoping in Gods Heaven that will not a problem make.

I am sure he will greet you with open arms, hand you a pen and paper ... and ask for a poem.

Love this and you, Joyce.

Oh, dear Joyce, you tug at my heartstrings with this wonderful and extremely poignant poem.

I love Alison's reply ... yes he will do just that!

Hugs.

Dear Joyce: I appreciate your poem and the feelings that spawned it. Very nice.
