She's gone, but I remember how She'd say "I'm done you can clean up now." Not in words of course but with swish of tail, And I'd obey her without fail. Since I have reached that stage of life, I'm no longer caretaker or a wife, I should be indulged as was my cat, As irresponsible as that. I would dine upon the finest fare, Use lots of dishes, I wouldn't care/ Like kitty, I'd be a real hi-brow, Say, "I'm fiished you may clean up now". By: Joyce 9/27/10 |

Thousands of years ago, Egyptians considered cats gods. The cats have never forgotten it. The difference between a dog and a cat is that a dog accepts you as his master and a cat wants to see your resume!  |
