I've been waiting an hour. Why does she come now? I would like to oblige her but time won't allow. I shout very rudely, "Why are you so late? Don't you see what the time is? My bedtime won't wait". She looks at me fondly with the tiniest smirk, turns back the clock hands, saying "Get back to work. In the spring, spring ahead and fall back in the fall. Well Joyce, take it when you can, I think mine went on another European vacation and I have no idea where! I just moderate until she feels like coming home. |
