The Blame Game
April 6, 2008

It's time for me to eat my lunch,
To partake in crunch and munch.
Whatever will I have today?
How ‘bout a salad with a spray
Of dressing, a one calorie squirt.
Well, why not, it can’t hurt,
And then I’ll have a little dab
Of phony, flaky whitefish crab,
Lettuce, cukes, tomato too.
No more chips that stick like glue
To my thighs and thickened waist
That developed from a taste
Of cakes and Pies and cookies that
Were brought home by my yellow cat.
I didn’t want to indulge
And wear behind me, this great bulge.
It isn’t any of my fault;
I’m a victim of food assault.
The feline who brought it in
Watched me eat it with a grin.
I’m going out into the park
To walk all day ‘til it gets dark.
Kitty wants to stay behind.
She figures that I’ve lost my mind.
Spring has sprung and winter’s gone;
A flow of poems sing my song
Of whimsical and picture paint.
It’s really grand, can’t say it aint!!!!

Wonderful.  I don't have a feline friend to blame it on and Susy my dog would gladly eat mine as well as hers so I don't have your excuse.  But I need one.  Love, Joyce

Dear Barb:

The only thing my Siamese cat ever leaves me are little slivers of wood! I never have figures out what I'm supposed to do with them. I wish he could be trained to bring me chocolate cake! This is really cute!

Dear Betty Lou,
Kitty brings little slivers of wood because he wants you to write a poem about them so that we can read it.
love, Barb
