You are my faithful companion
My dearest friend in time of need
Never have you failed to speak
When asked to do so
Your sweet voice is music
To these lonely Ears
You ask little of me yet,
You give so much

When I need solitude
You remain silent
Conforming to my every desire
My wish is your command
Has there ever been
One as obedient as you?
I marvel at your simplicity
Your sleek beauty is unsurpassed

Others may try to possess you
But you remain faithful
Never have you complained
Of the manner in which I use you
Your cool skin excites my senses
I love you my friend
My companion
My remote

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Peggers~
You delight us~

Definitely a 'guy' thing !!

It's not even REMOTEly possible that we ladies would have such a love affair~

Unless they could program a REMOTE to get you guys to do the things that need doing, with just a push of a button~
You know, those honey-do things ?

pegasus:  I thought this was really cute! I started out being so happy that you had such a wonderful, constant friend! Well, I guess a remote is better than nothing!

Remotes don't want to change the station, don't eat the last piece of pie and never argue with you. What else can a guy want?

A surprise ending, I love it.
But so much ardor for.....
a remote?

Well, sounds like someone pushed the RIGHT buttons with you, Peggers~

LOL ... back before the days of remotes ... I had four children to run up and change the channels and the volume too !!
Those were the days my friend~

I got into all of that passion and then when
I got to the end, it brought back memories of the time that I threw the remote out of the car window.

I'm glad I stopped in for a smile. I really thought you were going for man's best friend, but, the modern world sometimes wins.

Thanks, Melton
