The horns were raised and they announced
The victory of Red Who pounced
Upon the wolf who wore the clothes
Of grandmother as the story goes.
I often think about that day
As Little Red was on her way
Through the forest and over hills,
Just the thought gives me chills.
I was chopping wood and heard
A wolf talking. That’s absurd!
I looked in the window, was I surprised
By a granny with a nose that size!
The girl in red with nary a wince
Turned him into a now kissed prince.

Barb~

You reminded me of a little piece I wrote for my 7th grade English teacher~

We were conjugating verbs ... LOL ... I had a little fun with -

Little Red, Ride, Rode, Ridden Hood !!!

Always did like the magic of that little Red Hooded gal !!

Dear Barbv

Glad to see you back with us and with such
an adorable piece.  Loved it. Even when young I found Little Red a bit naive. Joyce
