Lovely Black Have you ever looked In the Sky, Late at Night, And fathom the elegant Of the dark... Dark black purplish cloud, I adore the mystery black. Want to taste, Take a slip Of seemingly dark coffee That seemed so irresistible Add some white, And some sugar, The seemingly dark Tinged with olive brown. Sunny day, I dress black. How lovely the black match with my Shinny dark long hair. At high-school prom, I adored My full black gown on dance floor. At college grad, I wear black again- Black seems to be my color... I hear people say Solemn black, But to me, black is deep. Oh maybe black has its own history of secretiveness-- Somewhere on its ride, she was hurt and was bruised. And how I sympathize, as though I was her. I have come to see her in me. La la la, dopey, dopey, not. Everyone Sometimes feel lonely. Yet it seems that's all my life... The elegant black... The mystery black... The irresistible black... The black of my memories... Say good night now To my sweet dreamy black... Sunny day will come again.
