Hey it's been awhile since the last time I posted. Here's another one. Let me know what you think.

Never Enough:
Ever since I learnt to walk,
You've expected far too much,
And though I try with all my might,
It never is enough.

I just want to make you proud,
To see you smile at me,
But all I do is disappoint you,
I guess it will not be.

I've never been quite good enough,
There's always something wrong,
And I am slowly giving up,
Not able to stay strong.

I just want to make you proud,
And see love in your eyes,
But all I see is disappointment,
And my hurt I can't disguise.

What will it take to get it right?
What do I have to do?
Why won't you just let me be me?
There's already one of you.

I just want to make you proud,
And hear you say well done.
But I only disappoint you,
And your respect I've not yet won.

Tell me what to do dad,
Show me how I should be,
I'd do all I can,
To make you proud of me.
