My heart beats faster!

I feel my heart beat
It starts to beat faster
I get to the place I meet
The moment of disaster

I start to walk away
Just steps at a time
Cuz now I'm not okay
Slowly loosing my mind

I feel my pulse disappear
As I stand in shock
Cuz now I face the fear
That I've unlocked

I start to leave a little quicker
Horrified at the sight
My blood becomes a little thicker
I start to feel this isn't right

Maybe I should run away
Go somewhere new
Before my life turns upside down
And there's nothing I can do

Pretend I don't feel
What's in my gut
The problems aren't real
And I'm not stuck

Maybe I should forget
Just let me run away
Maybe one day I'll regret
But for now I cannot stay

Cuz my heart beats faster
As I turn around
To face the disaster
That might bring me down

"Life is too confusing, but I like it that way!"
