(I like to get in the spirit of Halloween)

Aren't we all just pumpkins hollow
Smiling blind, but afraid to swallow
that we have no control over tomorrow
although we try so hard to follow
plans that we laid out so thorough
leaving ourselves trapped under boroughs
as life rains down the water flows
as we lie there we soak our souls
until we realize we can grow
then reach the surface to overthrow
the people that terrorize us so

But me, I guess I'll never know
with this candle in my mouth

This poem made me go.. "Oh..OH!" And it made me laugh at some points. Nice rhyming but the continues rhyme sorta get old after a couple read's. Can't wait to see more of your work!
