Tears cascading down my cheeks Screams escaping from my lips Devious images racing through my mind Almost dead but not quite yet Questions repeated All talking was ceased Non-existing delusions running through my eyes Never ending seconds passing by Electricity running through my spine Cold chills up my legs Ringing sounds throughout my head Threw my ears i hear the torture Through my mind i feel the pain All the talking and all the commotion Teeth chattering Lips squirming Sins are racing throughout my thoughts Flashing in and out of reality Thoughts of death racing threw my mind Gone to the place beneath the surface They ripped off my eye-lids and forced me to watch The demons i saw were diabolical and cruel When i looked in the mirror i saw i had become one too All of a sudden i wake up with tears Forsaking what i saw in that dream I wish only never to go back But as i look in the mirror for one last glimpse I see the monstrous creatures i had seen ''Its just a hallucination'' i reassured myself Until i turn to see it was no dream I was face-to-face with my true never-ending reality Written By: Leah Stonis |
