The tears don't flow down my cheek
At least not anymore
I thought it was a sign of being weak
But my opinions are different than before

Now I wish and beg that I could cry
And let the pain, just go
But it won't, I wonder why
Does anyone even know

I miss the nasty taste of salt
I know it sounds so crazy
My eyes get watery, but the tears still halt
They won't go, not even gently

Now I wish I knew what I know now
Before I had wished the tears away
But at least the truth has been found
I finally know that crying is okay

The tears don't flow down my cheek
But I know they will, someday
It's not a sign of being weak
Cuz it washes the pain away

I love the way you expressed your thoughts oon cryin and added anecdotes without losing your poetic ability. i am adding this to my favorite poems ever file!!!
