Secretly addicted to the rush, Sickly attracted to your words. Its not pain, yet it stings, You're nothing of what you used to be. I come back to you Walking on free will. Pretending not to know, The way you'll leave me ill. Saying that the same way i came, I can just as easily leave. As I lie and lie, yet only to myself, I know I dont regret, yet I can not believe, I once traded the rest of my life for only this. A Narcissistic, Cynical, Deceitful Love. Yet I walk, crawl and run, always your way For a dose of reality. Or a game of pretend. Whatever it is, whatever it may be The only thing i truly want, is from this to be free |
