Hey this took me forever. Please Let me know what you think.

A Child's Tale:

Darkness:I feel safe, I hear not a peep,
protective shadows, everyone’s asleep
In the lights, I suddenly feel fear;
another brutal abusing may be near

I wear the same clothes just because
they cover the bruises and the scars
I pray to all the Angels high above
Torn flesh is no way to show love

I wear a mask, I’m a master of disguise
to hide the emotional scars buried deep inside
These scars hurt most, I’ve cried many tears
No matter how hard I try, they linger on for years

I should speak out, yet I do not dare,
many more lashes, my worse nightmare
I only whisper the truth to my friends
These friends are my Angels in the wind

Each time the bashings become more brutal
How could loving parents be so immoral?
My destiny lies within their hands of hate
yet my Angels are by my side throughout my harsh fate

One night left me laying on a crimson floor
A few final heartbeats and then no more
Child abuse; just another victim unknown
My only memory is my name in smooth stone

My Angels grabbed me when it was time to go
Taking me to aplace where mortals don’t know
A very special place for kids; a peaceful kingdom
I’ve become an Angel to help other abused children

Beautiful but very very sad.

I'm so sorry for you.

Be who you are
And say what you feel
'Cause those who mind don't matter
And those who matter don't mind

As always it takes my breath away and it makes me sad just to think about it, Why do people choose to hit children? its not there faults they our born and they love.

The hollow emptiness, the crazed thoughts left to survive
