When Rain Falls:

I enjoy the rain
The water on my face
That way I'm free to cry
With no one asking why
Because the rain conceals the trace
Of the tear steaks down my face

When the rain falls
I feel safe to cry
And nobody will ask
So I won't have to lie

I enjoy the sound
As it splashes on the ground
It beats down like a drum
And the coldness makes me numb
So I do not feel the pain
When I'm standing in the rain

When rain falls
I suddenly feel free
And nobody will notice
That something is wrong with me

I enjoy the rain
The water on my face
That way Im free to cry
With no one asking why
Because the rain conceals the trace
Of the tear steaks down my face
