A poem i wrote on my way home from indiana, as the economy keeps getting worse, we will all suffer no matter where at in the world. i hope to see this turn the other way but its not looking that way anyways enjoy

“The declining states of America”

Once a great country, once a great land
Now nothing but crappy and bland

Said to be first and nothing could pass
Now to fall down and be the very last

Fighting war spending money
It would be a better life as a bunny

Mixing Religion with politics was a mistake
Last time that happened people were burned at the stake!

The second depression is on its way
Dreaming that this will be fixed the very next day

Mr. President what should we do?
Why ask him he has no clue

Still I can see it coming closer to us
Before the world ends I’d like to be able to trust

Here we come world, we are moving on
Maybe somewhere different, always wanted to see those places in that song

Everything is falling apart
Just as quick as a dart

The bad part is when we rot and die
Everything will be just fine…
P.S. I found this humorous in some parts but thats just me maybe you did to?

If its at its worst don't stop believing, because I'm right here and I'm not leaving

Wow keagan.. Best poem from you so far.. Its so true and you really got the idea quite right.. Great job!
