The One with all the Answers

No one has the answers
To what you always need
Well no one living that may be
Just that Higher Being

But if you choose to flounder
To make your problems worse
There’s nothing He will do
He’ll let nature take its course

And when you’ve suffered long enough
When the pain is hard as stone
He’ll pull you out of torture
And paint your scene anew

My life was quickly changing
Lanes from wrong to worse
But he made an intervention
And altered my whole course

I felt like guilt would swallow me
He made me feel alive
When I knew that I was done
He proved that I could fly

No one has the answers
To fix your problemed life
But One that always counters
Eternity to strife

"Lucy: I think you are the most selfish person on the planet. George: Well that's just silly. Have you met everyone on the planet?"

Powerful stuff. I really life it. It kind of has more than one meaning to it, to my eyes anyway. Good job.
