How Long?: How long can I stay quiet? How long will this silence last? Can I cope with this forever? Can I put it in the past? How much longer can I cope for? How much longer can I stay strong? Can I deal with this secret? Can I somehow carry on? How will I get through each day? How will I keep from breaking down? Can I live with this mental torture? Can I learn to swim before I drown? I can't stay silent forever, Eventually I'll speak out, I won't cope much longer, Of that I have no doubt. How long till I open my mouth? How long till this silence ends? Can I find a way to cope? Can I find help in my friends? How much longer till I give up? How much longer till I lose strength? Can I deal with the aftermath? Can I survive when the silence ends? How will I make it through? How will I break down? Can I get through this torture? Can I swim before I drown? I won't stay silent forever, Someday I will scream, I'll tell them what you did, I hope they'll listen to me. |
