Okay guys.. another poem.. gee i'm on a role atm.. I guess this is about my mum.. She's being her normal self.. stuobborn n pig headed telling me what i'm doing is wrong.. anyway to my mum.. The woman that made me, broke me, and drunk me all the way under the table but the woman who i love so much that it kills to imagine life without her.. Drinking Things Over __________________________ They say one day you lose your way And all the dreams you had get lost But somehow in the darkness You learn life’s fatal cost She’s staring at the phone Praying that you’re all right Why’d you have to go and leave? It was just a stupid fight She stands above the broken mirror Tears rolling from her face Mascara lines all down her cheeks She was her own disgrace Her clothes were tattered and torn Her eyes were black and blue Tonight she drank things over Tonight she drank to you At first it wasn’t hard it all You’d done so much to cause her pain But the hate just died away somehow And she became insane The world seemed so much darker As she grew more alone With tired eyes and bones slept Still clutching the phone |
