Your sitting at home with whiskey on your breathe.
A candle lit dinner set for one.
No matter how many times you drink away the ghost of your past.
You still end up sitting on your own.

The rain's pouring outside but you really don't seem to care.
And all you can do is drink down the pain.
But no matter how many times you fill that little empty glass.
You just don't cry like the storming rain.

You convince yourself that your the only one.
To feel this heart break, a broken song.
The heart break will be there for quite some time.
But like the full glass, it won't stay for long.

Outside you can hear what sounds like thunder roar.
Althought its rolling miles away.
But sooner or later the night will slowly come to an end.
And you start to see the light of day.

Memories flood the mind that your despretely trying to kill.
With one more shot your life is done.
Please don't dareling, I wouldn't be able to stand the pain.
You' don't want to end this way. not like this broken song.

(Writtin to be a song but still in memory of my friend, Keagan.)

Wow Zach - I'm glad you were able to pen that.  I hope it helped ease the pain to be able to write a great tribute like that.  Take care guy!
