SMILING FRIENDS

I clicked these pages
once with ease with
knowing faces smiling
up at me.

For I was known by
all and all were known
by me. Yet, now I sit
and I ponder,

what happened to
my smiling friends.
Where did all you
go?

Please come back
and reminisce for I
feel very blue, I am
nostalgic for you.

LOL

Krysti I have missed your enthusiasm. I hope to see more of myself around here also but you know how it goes, get caught up in life and the things you had hoped to do get forgotten.

Lea thank you for taking the time to read, that was real nice of you as this was directed more toward old friends, doubt most people know me around here anymore.

Anyway, thanks for commenting all. Nice to see you again Orange.

Stargal,
Boy it sure has been a long time. I can sort of understand the feeling of bewilderment at seeing so much new faces yet few old.

Like always it was a splendid write up and I must concur with hunnie_girl that we mustn't start up the Don't Change Anything Protesters Club again. That was the must random thread in the history of PIP ever I believe. If I do say so myself.

Why thank you dear blue but I doubt anyone but you "oldies" would care if I posted or not :P

I miss the protesters, even though you were obnoxious, what happened to everyone?

Old...me. That hurts Stargal.That hurts a lot
         (J/K)

The question is, is what happened to you, you "english k-nig-ht"?
I don't know about everyone else, but, as an honorary member of the "obnoxious" protestors (I protest that point-I just say we have spunk ), my reasoning is Senior year and all it's...splendour. Man 2008 is going by fast.

Chole it has been too long! I have missed seeing your poetry as well.

Hunnie poison the cookies if you must but refrain from mentioning teeth falling out!

Blue I've had some health things that have kept me from this wonderful place but hopefully I will make more time. Graduation?

Hunnie, I marvel at your culinary skills...lol. Apparently we are geniuses, as well, because we can pull off impossible (ie: the oxymoron that is old age and obnoxious-ness)

Stargal, sorry about your health issues. Hope to "see" you more this summer. And yes Graduation, the ever elusive high school ritual which we mass of seniors dread and wish for simultaneously.

Of course Hunnie_Girl. Why wouldn't we get discounts. But unfortunately they don't cover gas...arghh...(as of today gas is holding steady at $4)But they do cover our 'lil addictions (energy drinks and coffee, etc.)

Man I wish we had discounts, but instead we get polyester gowns and really tight caps. Oh joy...

Sorry to burst your bubble Blue but gas seems to have gone up to $4.20 a gallon. I am expecting we will hit $10 and then hold steady for a bit before we hit $15... but who really knows.

Anyway, I will be out of town for the next 2weeks on vacation (internet access limited for   I'll be out of country), you both have a nice summer and I'll be back

The day gas goes up to $10 will be the day we have mass riots in the streets. I sure hope gas prices never reach that figure. As it is I can barely tolerate gas with my vast income (note the sarcasm.)

And, if I may be so bold as to ask, where are you going this summer? The only times I've been out of the country are numerous times to visit Canada (but I'm from Michigan so it doesn't really count) and to visit Costa Rica .

Well, today I leave for Turkey, Egypt and Greece but as you can see I can't resist another little visit to pip before I leave.

I think with your vast income and my vast income we'll have to car pool :P

Lucky you Stargal. I've got to admit I'm jealous. All my traveling this summer can be restricted to the lower peninsula. Oh Vay... I hope you enjoy your tri-country trip mon ami.

*Sidenote* Yay for carpooling. ^_-
