A Glorious Room

There were two scholars
Of great renown
Good men and philosophers both

There was a room
In a ruin
A fabulous crafting indeed

The first man came
While a bright light
Didst shine

He did marvel in glory
The room did display
With no shadow to be found

But before he could take his fill
A cloud drifted over
The sun

Then all he saw was darkness
For he had known
Such light

The second man
He then appeared
And saw but a ruin

The first he tried to disagree
But was thwarted for
He could not see

Such a glorious room
Wasted on such
Broken lives

"We all lead such elaborate lives, We don't know who's words are true." Aida
