hey hey,
  srry ive been gone. just having trouble deciding what to post. as you can tell, i need a title, so if someone could give me a suggestion it'd be great!

beauty unfolds,
like a warm desert flower
with deadly thorns.
strech out your leaves,
dry in the heat.
you are always invited;
come in and rest
welcome summer.

why do you linger
for a time?
one foot in
one foot out.
please don't darken my door way,
for to long.
don't keep the sun at bay,
rain close at your back.
bring with you
the gentle haze.
welcome summer.

so much to share,
you've been gone for so long,
i thought you'd died.
wispering secrets,
into your warm twilight breeze.
the cold;
cut the skin from my back
  and took my strength.
froze the voice from my throat
  and took my laughter.
stabbed the heart in my chest
  and took my love...
  my life.

what must i do, but wait.
wait with you to live
only to die,
in winters claws.
welcome summer.

if you can touch me, i know i'm still only dying
