Past Feeling

I’m afraid I’ve lost most feeling
I can’t believe it’s true
I’m afraid that I have died and gone
Up high past the blue

Where pain, itself, once seated
It’s heightened vain in heart
I now know something’s pushing
All feeling there depart

The guilt you try to press
In desperation’s plea
Is only getting halfway too
Where you would it be

My heart now longer functions
I don’t know what I feel
The time I have spent crying
Doesn’t seem so real

Love grows Softly in the Blinding Sun . . .
