Explaining I’m sorry that I’m acting On impulse more than thought I’m trying my best, but it’s hard, for this test Is better if not fought I can’t just let this happen For my loyalty now lies With someone new, I’m sorry too Let’s let this all pass by “I should have known We’d never get anywhere Can’t fall in love When you’re fallin' apart, Can’t made amends If you’re only makin’ mistakes Empty words Can’t fix a broken heart. . .” –New Year’s Day (You’ll only Make it Worse) I’m sorry that you’ll miss me It’s all my fault- it’s true I just wish, for less of this And plain friendship in view This can’t go on forever As I selfishly implied I wanted you, too much it’s true It blurred my every line Love grows Softly in the Blinding Sun . . . |
