It all started in the days of old
Stories of folklore were often told
Of creatures that roamed the night
Screams can be heard out of fright

But this tale is the scariest of them all
It is about a girl in the days of fall
She meets this one handsome guy
And his charms she couldn’t deny

He gives her power of no use
And uses the words “I love you” to abuse
He chants spells in her ear
And made her miss him when he was not near
Slowly he gently ripped her chest apart
Squeezing between his fingers her oh so gentle heart

Leaving behind an empty shell
This is what happened to that poor girl who fell
No one has heard from her again
This tale was told to me when I was ten

And believe me they exist these boogie men
Who you will come across now and then
But don’t be scared just don’t look them in the eyes
Or later on you’ll hear your soul is another one that cries!
