A Hole In My Heart

Like a thousand years I had to wait,
And in that time I was breeding hate,
I've learned a truth I never knew,
I figured out what I was to do,
To pay you back for all this time,
To make you see it was a crime,
You've made me wait for far too long,
And all my love for you has gone,
Slowing creating an empty space,
Which all your love cannot replace,
We used to talk for hours on end,
Neither me nor you had to pretend,
You told the truth and so did I,
Through all the moments I would cry,
You held me although we'd never touch,
I never thought I'd be loved so much,
But you were there, it was hard to concieve,
That our precious moments would ever leave,
But alas the end of days has come,
With your silence has gone the fun,
I am so empty I hope you are too,
There's a hole in my heart, shaped like you.

I am a broken toy,
Of no use to anyone,
But if you fix me up,
I'm sure we'll have some fun.

aawwwwwwwe!!! this is one of my new favorites! it's going in my library. Amazing job, sweet yet sad. I think those are my favorites...anyway, great job!
